From digital pilots to operational capability

I help financial services, insurance and energy organisations build the workforce capability required to make transformation stick.

Interim & Fractional CLO

Interim & Fractional CLO Leadership

Senior learning, capability and transformation leadership when your organisation needs direction, momentum and accountable delivery—without the delay or fixed cost of a permanent executive appointment.

AI-Assisted Competency Frameworks

Move beyond “trained” and “not trained.” I design competency frameworks that help leaders define the performance required in critical roles, identify real readiness gaps and build credible evidence of who can perform work independently, who requires support and who can coach or assess others.

Transformation does not fail at launch. It fails in the gap between pilot and everyday practice.

New technology, processes and strategies cannot scale when people lack the capability to perform changed work with confidence, managers do not reinforce new behaviours, and leaders cannot see where critical readiness gaps remain.

Transformation Capability Diagnostics

When an initiative is not scaling as expected, the problem is rarely a lack of activity. I help leaders identify the capability, manager-ownership and operating-practice gaps that are preventing change from becoming routine performance.

Capability is the missing infrastructure of transformation

When organisations can define, evidence and develop the competence required in critical roles, leaders gain a clearer view of readiness, managers can reinforce performance in the flow of work, and transformation becomes easier to sustain. This perspective is grounded in senior learning and capability leadership across insurance, professional services, energy and complex industrial environments. At the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, I helped drive a 308% increase in Learning and Development revenue through redesigned programme delivery and stronger evaluation of training effectiveness. At Sanlam Nigeria, I implemented an enterprise learning management system across business regions. At Nigerdock, I developed a Train-the-Trainer programme that enabled knowledge transfer from 95 subject-matter experts and expatriates to local staff.

Knowledge Transfer & Manager Enablement

Critical expertise does not become organisational capability simply because it exists. I help organisations retain specialist knowledge, build local capability and equip managers to translate strategic change into daily team practice.

The Pilot-to-System Gap (PSG-4)

I co-created the Pilot-to-System Gap framework to explain why promising digital initiatives stall after pilot stage. It focuses on the organisational conditions required to move from symbolic adoption to embedded practice: capability, middle-manager ownership, diffusion and institutional support.

Let’s make transformation stick

If your organisation has invested in change but needs workforce capability, manager practice and operational performance to catch up, I would welcome a focused conversation.
